Click "Save", navigate to your desktop and press "Save" again.

Double click dataacc.exe on your desktop.

When the program window is displayed, click on the 'Yes' button, then click 'Continue', then click 'OK'.

Next, click the large button to the left of the text Complete\Custom Install. Put a check mark next to Data Access Drivers (first item on the list) and then click Continue.

In a few moments, you will get a dialog saying that the setup completed successfully. Click the 'OK' button to exit.

Click "Save", navigate to your desktop and press "Save" again.

Next, double click VBRun60sp5.exe.

Click 'Yes'. When the progress bad disappears the install is finished.

Click "Save", navigate to your desktop and press "Save" again.

Lastly, double click MDAC_TYP.exe.

Click continues when prompted and allow the setup to finish.

Note: if you receive a message "MDAC 2.8 RTM is incompatible with this version of Windows. All of its features are currently part of Windows." you are up-to-date.

Windows Updates: Always run the most up-to-date versions or MS Windows and applications.

As indicated by Microsoft, Error 1305 can be caused by the following:

MDAC is damaged or is not installed properly

The program CD-ROM is damaged or dirty

To reinstall MDAC (Microsoft Data Access Components), please Download http://www.brainx.org/download/MDAC_TYP.exe

And install.

Error 1305 may also indicate that your DLS CD-Rom or CD-Rom Drive has failed or is failing to operate properly. Please visit this article from Microsoft regarding steps you can take to fix the error:

Alternatively, you can try inserting the BrainX DLS CD-Rom into another computer and see if the same error message appears. If the error does appear, the CD-Rom is likely bad and will need to be replaced. Please contact us to request a replacement.

If you receive an error message at boot, (before you double click on the DLS icon) that prompts you to insert the BrainX Digital Learning System disc, then please take the following steps:

Insert your BrainX DLS CD-Rom into your CD-Rom drive Click Browse on the error message and navigate to your CD-Rom Drive, selecting Setup.msi

type the following into the box: D:\Setup.msi
